Dear Friends at H.M.S. DIANA, My name is Mark Thompson and I am the senior awareness coordinator for www.maritimehelp.com. I was looking for resources to contact about maritime rights and came across your site. First, I want to say how impressed I am with your site and all that you provide for your visitors. You know what; safety is an offshore vessel owner??s sole responsibility. The numbers of accidents that can occur on a seafaring vessel are virtually infinite. During 2003- 2010, the U.S. oil and gas extraction industry (onshore and offshore, combined) had a collective fatality rate seven times higher than for all U.S. workers (27.1 versus 3.8 deaths per 100,000 workers). It is reasons like these why we feel it is so important to not only spread awareness but help any individuals that we can. Our site does all that we can to provide attention to general maritime rights of injured workers I believe your visitors would find the information on our site quite pertinent and eye opening. I would be grateful if you would mention Maritime Help here - hmsdiana.webs.com/apps/links/. We cover many areas that all seafaring men and women can take advantage of and take pride in helping all that we can. I it would be a great addition and a benefit to your users. What you think? Best Regards, Mark Thompson Senior Awareness Coordinator
